Our Projects

Szeged-Timisoara Data Space Project
RDE is contributing to the development of data-driven smart city solutions aimed at improving urban mobility, environmental monitoring, and city governance in Szeged and Timisoara. The project focuses on optimizing public transportation, reducing traffic congestion, and enhancing air quality through real-time data collection and analysis. Our role includes supporting the implementation of digital infrastructure, ensuring system interoperability, and facilitating cross-border data exchange between the two cities.
SAGE – European Green Deal Data Space
As a consortium partner, we are set to play a key role in the SAGE initiative, a flagship project to establish a European Green Deal Data Space. Launching in 2025, this project aims to enhance accessibility, integration, and utilization of environmental and sustainability-related data across the EU. Our focus includes developing value-added data services, creating secure infrastructure for data sharing, and supporting use cases such as forestry management and biodiversity protection.
European Digital Wallet Consortium
We are leading the development and testing of an innovative age verification solution integrated with the European Digital Wallet. Our solution is designed to provide secure, self-sovereign identity capabilities for users across Europe. In this project, the Finnish Tax Authority (DVV), ValidatedID, and iGrant are providing EUDIWallet-compatible wallets connected to our system.
Buda Castle Integrated Visitor Platform
We lead and coordinate the development of a multi-year program to enhance the visitor experience at one of Europe’s most iconic cultural heritage sites. The program integrates several projects, leveraging cutting-edge technologies such as augmented reality, data-driven planning tools, and immersive digital engagement to support personalized visitor journeys for over 5 million annual guests.
First Driving License Application Platform
We led the design and implementation of an online platform to streamline driving license applications, enhancing access to essential public services. The platform incorporates distributed ledger technology (DLT) to ensure secure, transparent, and efficient processing, setting a new standard for user-friendly government services.
